London Market Weaker LONDON, May 31. Arrivals of fruit are again veryheavy. The proximity of the Whitsun holidays has resulted in easier prices. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram dated May 29, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— Apples: Port Sydney shipment in good condition. Market weak with declining tendency. Oox’s Orange, 13/- to 17/-; 'Granny Smith, 12/- to 14/-; Stunner, 8/- to 9/6; Dunn’s Favourite, Statesman and Ballarat,. 7/- to 9/-; Jonathan, Delicious, Desert Gold, and London Pippin, 7/ to 8/6. Pears: Winter Nells, 8/- to 11/6; Winter Cole, 8/6 to 9/6; Koiffer, 6/- to s/-; Vicar f) f Winkfield, 5/6.
