Hastings and Havelock North A start was made yesterday with the inter-school Rugby lootbalf competition among the primary schools of hustings and Havelock North, Games were played in both senior and junior grades and the results were as follow;— SENIOR. Convent defeat Mahora, 6—3. Central defeated Hastings West, 36—0. JUNIOR. Mahora defeated Convent, s—o.5 —0. Central defeated Hastings West, 6-O. Parkvale defeated Havelock North. 2 l-O.
