Miss Nola Marshall, of Clifton Col lege, is leaving Hastings shortly to take un her residence at Waipukurau. She will be greatly missed in theatrical circles in this district, as she has always been an interested acting member of the local societies. Mrs. D. PemMe, of Dunedin, who has been visiting Hawke’s Bay and been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harris, of Havelock North, left Hastings yesterday on her return south. Miss Ruth Hobson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Thos Hobson, left Porangahau on Monday for Wanganui, to take up nursing in the Karijane Hospital. Miss Hobson will be greatly missed in social and sporting circles ,’|.id she carries with her the good wishes of a large circle of friends for success in her profession.
