Bowling Results From Our Own Correspondent. WAIPAWA, March 16. The following are the results of the games played on the Waipawa Bowling green on Saturday last:— Sawyer, August, McKay, Chisholm 20; King, Barrie, Fletcher, Parkin 19. Harker, Walker, Wallace 18; Petherick, Clark, Fraser 19. Kingston, Davy, Critchley 25; Holt, Cossar, Holt 14. CORNER COLLISION. An accident which might easily have been attended by serious consequences, occurred at the Commercial Hotel corner Waipawa, on Saturday afternoon, when a five-seater car proceeding down Kuataniwha street collided with a light lorry driven by Mr W. Cheer, of Waipawa. Both vehicles were badly damaged in front, but fortunately none of the parties was injured. A NARROW ESCAPE.Two youths had a very narrow escape from serious injury on Sunday .morning, when the handle bars of a bicycle on which they wore double banking broke, both being thrown heavily on to the road and rendered unconscious.
