UNLICENSED RADIO SETS
Several men were fined by Mr J. Miller, S.M., in the Napier Magistrate’s Court this morning for failure to renew licenses for radio sets. Excuses for their faiure, in each case, were neglect. R. W. Aubrey was fined £l, with 13/- costs. L. Basher was fined £l, with 10/- costs. The same fine was imposed on E. G. Heynes and H. Hollyman. The charges were laid by Charles E. Hannah, radio inspector, and Senior-Sergeant H. C. Wade represented the police.
