TUTAEKURI DIVERSION
No Interruption in Work
COMMITTEE’S DECISION
A decision to proceed with the Tutaekuri river diversion work without delay was reached by the works committee of the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board this morning.
A short while ago the board decided to give special consideration to the question of delaying the work until next summer, owing to the large amount of wet weather being experienced. When the committee .met this morning, however, members were unanimous that the work should not be held up.
