Harvey, Fulton & Hill Messrs Harvey, Fulton and Hill report having held their usual weekly market sale in their mart, Russell street, Hastings, last Saturday, when they had very large entries in all sections. The attendance of the public was again large and bidding for all lots that came under the hammer was very keen with the result that the whole entry was turned out sold. Prices obtained were:— Poultry.—W.L. pullets, 4/- to 5/-, 8.0. pullets 4/6 to 5/6 for just on lay, 2/6 to 3/6 for later birds, 8.0. cockerels 2/- to 3/3, W.L. cockerels 1/9 to 2/3, 8.0. hens 2/- to 2/7, W.L. hens 1/2 to 1/8, Budgies 7/6 pair, ducks 3/- to 3/6 pair. Sundries. —Spade 3/6, milk can 7/-, strainer 3/-, hay knife 2/-, set harrows £3 7/6, Studebaker truck £l2 10/- barrel 3/-, stakes 4/6 and 3/6, scythe 6/-, churn 5/6, barley 8/- sack, scales 17/6, empty cases lOd each, tine ].(>d each, wireless mast 10/-, separator £4, shafting 4/6, cart saddle and Breechan £2 5/-, cart saddle £1 1/-, stove £l. timber 15/-, gas stove £lO.
