CANTOR’S NEXT
Samuel Goldwyn has already fixed Eddie Cantor’s next film. It will be called “Pony Boy,” and is said to be a radical departure from the usual type of Cantor comedy. “Strike Me Pink,” Cantor’s sixth annual musical comedy, has been completed. It has been the aim of Samuel Goldwyn to make this Cantor’s greatest picture, and the cost is stated to have reached 1,500,000 dollars. Three distinct companies, dealing with dialogue, ensemble and trick “stunts” respectively, have been working on the production. One shot which lasts only a couple of moments on the screen cost 14,000 dollars. The picture will be released by United Artists.
