The King’s Speech at Die opening of Parliament, apart from references to foreign affairs, is generally expected to deal with the problem of areas specially affected by the depression, with deficiencies in tho defence services, with the raising of the school-leaving age, and with plans for railway improvements by means of a loan of £26,000,000 with a Government guarantee. The debate on the Address-in-Reply will begin to-morrow. The principal speakers on the first day will be the Prime Minister and Major Atlce.
