From Our Own Correspondent PORANGAHAU, Sept. 16.
Advice has been received in Forangaliau from Sir Alfred Ransom, that Cabinet has authorised the necessary expenditure for providing a new post office at Porangahau. The new building is to be a most up-to-date one, and it is expected that the work will be commenced shortly.
Several new pupils were admitted to the Porangahau School at the beginning of the third term, making the present roll number now 93,
