FALL DOWN CLIFF

Boy Caught by Bush

By Telegraph—Press Association.

AUCKLAND, Sept. 15

Falling from the top of a 40-ft. cliff at the foreshore at Nbrthcote yester day, a 13-year-old boy, Keith Kogers Bezzant, of Northcbfe, fortunately had his progress arrested by a clump of gorse about 15 feet down the cliff-face. He escaped -with injury to the left shoulder.

The lad had been standing on the top of the cliff with some other children. He was very near the edge, and suddenly some loose earth gave way and precipitated him down the cliff-face. After a sheer drop of 15 feet he had his fall broken by a clump of gorse and he managed to remain on a ledge of the cliff.

Help was brought by the other children, and the boy was extricated from his plight. He was later taken to the Auckland Hospital, his- condition to-day being not serious.
