Monthly meeting of Hastings Chamber of Commerce, to-night at 8 o’clock. A proposal for the construction of baths for the Taradale-Greenmeadows district will be discussed at a meeting at Taradale at 7.30 o’clock to-night. Many present-day readers of the Scriptures wonder if the Old Testame.it record of the journeyings of the Children of Israel has any presentday application. For the next three weeks at Nelson Street Hall, Mr It. Auld, evangelist, will give a series of addresses to show the present-day lessons to be learned from Israel’s experiences.
