THE LYSNAR CASE
Evidence Concluded

Evidence was concluded on Saturday night in the action in which W. D. Lysnar proceeded against the National Bank of New Zealand for damages totalling £137,000 arising out of the bank’s occupancy of Arowhana Station. During the eleven days’ hearing in Gisborne, evidence was given by stock exports regarding the value of the stock before and during the bank’s occupancy. Typewritten depositions of the evidence occupied 178 foolscap sheets, and exhibits comprising documents, plans, etc., totalled 135.
The case has now been adjourned to Wellington for legal argument.
