Lady Sidey, of Dunedin, is the guest of her neice,'Mrs Howard Glazebrook, the Washpool, Hastings.
Mr and Mrs G. 0. Bayley, Te Awamutu, are spending a few days in Hastings, and are staying with Mrs Bayley’s parents, Mr and Mrs Barton Hobbs, Charlotte Crescent.
Mesda.mes W. Bridgman, ChapmanTaylor, M. Buck, Berthon Williams, ami Mrs and Miss Comrie, nil of Havelock North, loft to-day for Auckland to attend tho Women's Institute meeting ns representatives of the Havelock North Institute.
The wedding took place very quietly on June 8 of Lieutenant Roland A. Jones, R.N.R., only son of Mr anfl Mrs Raymond W. Jones, 11, The Park, Forest Hill, London, and Daisy Estelle Scott, younger daughter of Mr ami Mrs J. Flinders Scott, of Opawa, Christchurch. The ceremony took place at Christ Church, Forest Hill, the vicar officiating. The bride was a member of the Woodford House stall until the end of 1934, when she loft Now Zealand to take up a dietetic appointment at the Royal Northern Hospital.
Mrs. J. Lawther, of Hatuma, left to-day for Auckland, to attend the Dominion Conference of Women's Institutes.
