TEXTILE MILLS
Big Factory in Southland I INVERCARGILL, June 24. It was stated by a director of the company to-day that the textile mills to be established in Southland with the assistance of English capital would be among the largest of their kind in the world ami would employ hundreds of operatives. The manufacture of every class of hessian sacking and woolpack from New Zealand fibre was to be engaged in the supply of portion of the Australian and New Zealand market, estimated to be worth £4,000,000 a year.
