OBITUARY
Dr. James J. Edgar
The death took place this morning of one of Napier 's best known and most esteemed physicians, Dr. Janies J. Edgar. Dr. Edgar came to Napier from the Old Country some 30 odd years ago, and established himself in. practice. He married Miss Una Hitchings, the youngest daughter of the late Dr. Thomas Hitchings, who predeceased him a few years ago. He was recognised as an able physician. He was of a quiet, retiring nature and took no part in public affairs. He had been in indifferent health for some time, but bore his weakness with great fortitude. He leaves one daughter, Miss Maxine Edgar, to whom the greatest sympathy will be extended ia her bereavement.
