OBITUARY
Mr. Charles Growcott
The death of Mr. Charles Growcott, of Goddard’s Lane, Havelock North, occurred to-day. Mr. Growcott was born at Beechworth, Victoria, Australia, 72 years ago, and came to New Zealand when he was four years of age, his parents settling at Ross, in Westland. He had lived in Havelock, where he was well known and very highly respected, for the past 17 y-ears. The deceased is survived by his widow and by three sons and three daughters, Mr. W. C. Growcott, Hastings; Mr. G. W. Growcott, Havelock North; and Mr. E. A. Growcott, Lower Hutt; Mrs. V. A. Person, Havelock North, and Misses E. and A. Growcott. The funeral will leave the deceased’s late residence for the Havelock Cemetery at three o’clock to-morrow afternoon.
