ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
Hastings Classes Begin
At the first of the series of instruction classes in first aid held at the St. John Ambulance room, Hastings, some 30 students were enrolled. The lecture consisted of a treatise on the objects of first aid, and covered general preliminaries. It was arranged that the male members should leceive their practical instruction with the ambulance brigade, and that the ladies should meet for practice at 7 p.m. prior to the lectures. A general combined practice will be held in place of the regular lecture on July 3. Intending students will be accepted up till July 17, when the roll will close.
