Woo! Problems Discussed PERFECTING THE NEW PACK Artificial Silk Inroads (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received 22, 10.30 ami.) LONDON, Juno 21. The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, at Bradford, inspected the new type of wool packs sent from New Zealand. The opinion of wool experts with him was that an improvement had been made. At a conference with wool importers, Mr. Forbes urged wool-users to help iu perfecting tho paek, which would give employment to many New Zealand people. With reference to the inroads made on the wool trade by artificial silk, Mr. Forbes said ho did not blame women for favouring that, but hoped that tho wool trade would get its share of business. In cold weather, there was nothing to equal wool. Mr. Forbes then mentioned the experiments conducted in the North Island to get a better type of wool. He said he had boon a woolgrower for over 40 years and would be the same again if he had to re-start his life. “Unfortunately,” he added, “I got mixed up in polities and have had my job for 27 years.
