Mclntosh—Nielsen A very pretty wedding of wide interest in Southern Hawke’s Bay was solemnised in the Dannevirke Presbyterian Church on June 12, when Joyce Hil<U, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Chalies Nielsen, of Norsewood, was i. tirried to Ronald Raymond, second son of Air and Mrs W. J. Mclntosh, of Dan nevirke. The church had been artistically decorated with flowers and greenery by friends of the bride, and a pretty white bell was suspended over tho bridal couple during tho ceremony. The Rev. Air Scott, 8.A., was the officiating minister, and Mrs It. Armstrong presided at the organ. The bride entered tho church on the arm of her father, and made a very charming picture in a frock of ivory sand crepe with cowl sleeves to the elbows, and tight fitting to the wrists, forming a peak over tho hands. It had a high cowl neck finished at the back with dainty pearl buttons to tho waist, and continued in tight fitting lines to the knee, where it foil in a long train. A beautiful tulle embroidered veil—lent to tho bride by Airs Castles, of Otawhao —was caught with sprays of orange blossoms on either side of the forehead. White satin shoes completed tho toilette. The bridesmaid, Miss Coral Parsons, was attired in a very pretty frock of blue wool lace, cut on slim fitting lines, with a square neck finished with a dainty pink velvet bow, and full puff sleeves. A sash oft pink velvet encircled the waist and fell to the Item of the frock. Blue mittens, tight fitting to above tho elbow, pink underslip, rind also pink satin shoes were worn. She carried a beautiful bouquet of pink roses, bine hydrangeas and maidenhail fern. Little Dawn Nielsen, daughter of Mr and Airs C. Nielsen, of Dannevirke, acted as flower-eirl, and looked very winsome in a long frock of apricotcoloured organdie, with tiny puff sleeves on a fitting bodice, and tho skirt fell in dainty frills to the hem. She also wore a pretty band of tiny blue roses around her head, and carried a Victorian posy of blue hydrangeas and gold daffodils. Air K. Pelham, of Dannevirke, attended on the bridegroom as best man. After the ceremony a reception wns held in (lie Town Hall, Afcsdames Niel son and Afelntosh receiving the guests, the former wearing a becoming frock of black figured sand crepe, with hat and shoes to tone. Mrs Ali-lntosh wns a'tired in a marone frock with nigger brown coat, shoes and hat to tone. Botli carried posies of red berries and flowers lied witli red satin ribbon. The tables were nicely decorated am! the beautiful three-tiered wedding cake, made by Mrs T. Logan, held pride of place and wi’s greatly admired by everybody. The young couple left by ear, amid showers of confetti, for their future home in Rongotea. The bride’s travelling frock was of marone wool material, simply cut, witli facings of beige crepe de-chene, over which was worn a marone coat with nigger brown fur collar. Brown shoes ;ynl gloves, and a smart suin' 1 luaruno hat completed her attire.
