STRUCK BY LIGHTNING
Indian Village Razed CALCUTTA, June 20. Fourteen were killed aud many seriously injured by lightning in the village of Kolki in the Kathiware State during a storm heralding the breaking of the monsoon. The village, which is built principally of straw and bamboos, was razed to the ground and set on fire. Alany narrowly escaped death in the Games.
