Mr Lctnass announced in the Dail that an experimental air service was being started between England and the Free State in July in order to secure data preliminary to inaugurating a re gular national service to the Continent via Britain. Difficulties were being experienced in connection with the crea tion of a mercantile marine in whirl M desired to carry half the Anglo Irish and Irish-European trade. Othe> methods would be adopted if the pre sent plans, were unavailing.
