MOUNTAIN MYSTERY
MAN’S SKELETON FOUND Believed to be Australian CRICKET TEAM FOLLOWER — (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—copyright.) (Received 14, 12.55 p.m.) LONDON, March 13. A skeleton, fully clothed, founa on a mountain near Bryncross, in Merionethshire, is believed to be that of an Australian named Kendal, or Kendell. who is said to have accompanied the cricket team to England. At tha inquest a verdict was returned that he was found dead. There is no suspicion of foul play. In addition to £2X in notes in the man’s pocket were nine pounds torn up in a wallet, also a gold watch. There were no other clues of his identity. Mr. Kendell was aged about 50, was short and stout, had black hair and was ciean ■shaven. He took rooms at > Barmouth in (September, saying that he was a Quaker find had lived in West- ! moreland and New Zealand. He departed on September 9, leaving two days’ extra rent and saying that he wished to setth lest anything should happen to him.
