’VARSITY BOAT RACE
Cambridge to Use Bells (Received 14, 1.30 p.tn.) LONDON, March 13. The Cambridge coxswain will operate in the boat race two electric bells more powerful than the one used last year, the sound of which was drowned by the cheering of the crowds and air engines. The bells will be placed under the seats to convey code messages to the oarsmen.
