FLOWER OF THE NIGHT.—A flower of the night-blooming cactus of the cereus variety, which opened in Wellington on Monday evening at 9 o’clock. The cactus, which is growing in a 7in. pot, Was brought to New Zealand by Dr. O. Earp-Thomas, of Wellington, when he returned from the Hawaiian Islands some years ago.
