Individual Realisations STORTFORD LODGE SALE The Associated Auctioneers report as follow on yesterday’s sale at Stortford Lodge.— An entry of 232 fat cattle met with keen competition, prices on female beef showing an improvement of up to 10/- a head. Bullocks were few and sold at late rates. Cows and heifers made to £6 and over, while bullocks sold to £7 15/-, Some 3(10 store cattie sold steadily at rates showing a slight improvement on some lines, bullocks making to £6 8/-, steers to £3 19/- and cows to £3 4/-. A moderate entry of fat sheep realised improved prices for ewes, making up to 22/6 for maiden sheep, with lambs ami wethers selling at recent values. Store sheep numbered 15,000, with wethers in bigger supply. Store ewes and lambs sold well, while breeding ewes were somewhat variable, with good sheep selling fairly steadi y. Wethers met a sticky sale, and prices showed an easier tendency on some lines. Store ewes made to 12/6, young breeding ewes to 29/-, wethers to 22/1 and lambs to 15/6.
