Magistrate to Go on Circuit By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, September 17. No permanent chief judge of the High Court of Western Samoa will be appointed to succeed Mr J. 11. Luxford on his return to New Zealand early next month, but arrangements will be made for the administration of justice in the mandated territory by a Magistrate going on circuit there from the Dominion. In reply to a question, the Prime Minister. Mr G. W. I'orbes, who is also Minister of External Affairs, said that in future a Magistrate from New Zealand would visit Samoa from h'.n tc three times a year.
