HOCKEY MATCH
Nordon Cup Team v. The Rest
The Hastings hockey representatives will conclude their 1934 programme with a game against The Rest at Cornwall Park on Thursday next at 2.45 p.m. This is a special fixture arranged in conjunction with the Hawke’s BayBoxing Association as entertainment for visiting boxers and friends. The Hastings eleven has displayed excellent form this season in withstanding all challenges for the Nordon Cup and a really good game should be seen as there is good material amongst “The Rest’’ which will avail itself of the opportunity of showing how unlucky they have been at not gaining rep. honours.
