The following are the results of Eastbourne (South of England) championship finals:—
Men’s singles.—Sharpe beat Andrews, 6—3, 6 —3. Women’s singles.—Miss Round beat Miss King, 6 —4, 6—l.
In tho semi-final of the mixed doubles Hare and Joan Ridley defeated Andrews and Mary Hecley, 6—4, 2—6, 6—4.
