FATAL CAR SMASH
Hobart Journalist Killed
HOBART, September 10
When motoring home early in the morning from the "Mercury” newspaper, four journalists collided with a motor lorry.
Jack B. Judd, aged 30, was killed; Roy Kearney, aged 41, suffered a compound fracture of the skull and his condition is critical; Lloyd Morgan, aged 24, suffered a fractured knee cap. and Leonard Harbach facial injuries.
