Messrs Harvey, Fulton and Hill report having held their usual Saturday sale of poultry, fruit, vegetables aml sundries. Poultry was yarded in good numbers and sold well to a large attendance of buyers. Fruit and vegetables were also in good demand and a complete clearing was made at good prices. Prices were as follows:— Poultry Table poultry 2/- to 5/6, W.L. pullets 3/-, 8.0. cockerels 3/6 to 4/9, 8.0. hens 3/-. W.L. hens 1/10 to 2/9, W.L. roosters 2/6 to 2/11. Produce: Potatoes 2/6 to 3/- sugar bag, ,16 to 10/6 sack, onions plants 6d to 9d bundle, B.S. onions 3/6 to 4,3 sugar bag, lettuce Id each. Stunner apples 1,6 hall case, Dmgliertjs I, J hall case, asparagus bd bundle, pickling ouious id lb., lemons 8d dozen, paismps 1/6 to 1/10 sugar bag, spring cabbages 3d each, leeks 2d bundle, rhubarb 3d bundle.
