SHIPPING AT NAPIER
Quiet Period Last Month COMPARATIVE FIGURES bust month the Port of Napier experienced a somewhat quiet period as far as shipping was concerned, with the result that the earnings of the wharfage and Harbour Master’s departments were affected accordingly. The earnings amounted to £2897, as compared with £3,309 for the same month of Inst year. The earnings for the 11 months of the current year total £59,819, being an increase of £715 on the amount earned during the same period in the previous year.
