FRUIT CONTROL BOARD
Mr. R. Paynter Chairman
ELECTION UNOPPOSED
Mr. Ralph Paynter, of Hastings, for many years president of the Hawke’s Bay Fruitgrowers’ Association, has been elected chairman of the Fruit Control Board.
Air Paynter, whose election was unopposed, has served on the board for a number of years, and his appointment will be very popular iu this district especially. Air Paynter, informed the "Tribune ' that he had no statement to make at present in reference to the board s policy. The export, policy for the coming season, he said, would he drawn up nt the board’s next meeting.
