AVhat may be termed a minor feat ot endurance is the staying-power of a dog-trial judge. At Porangahau last week in the two first competitions there were 91 competitors, each one necessitating concentrated attention under, at times, stormy conditions. Mr C. S. Hay, of Masterton, executed a beautiful and accurate chart of each dog's performance, a copy of which was handed to each dog-owner, whereby he was able to ascertain where things went “agley.” Mr Hay’s decisions met with wholesale approval.
