Nurses’ Accommodation
(To the Editor.) Sir, —The Hawke’s Bay HoeprtaJ Board is taking time by the forelock regarding the Memorial Hospital winter accommodation. A gang of carpenters are putting together what purports to be bunks for the nurses, in a position that is at least, if not wholesome, cool. The last tent erected in the same locality was blown to pieces by severe winds. It is a rough lookout considering that nurses are supposed to be human. Apparently any provision is good enough for Hastings. —I am, etc., BUNK.
