Aid for the Blind
(To the Editor). Sir, —Muy 1, through your columns express to the public of Hastings our warm thanks for the splendid sales of
Blind Institute wares at the Neent Show. These amounted altogether to over £l5. This is a splendid contribution in these difficult days t» *ur blind men and women. The Government subsidy has been entirely withdrawn, and subscriptions have fallen substantially, so that the maintenance of our establishment is all the more dependent upon the wiling of our wares. We do appreciate most thoroughly the splendid brfp we have been given.—l am, etc., J. E. BROADFOOT, Secretary. Auckland, April 4th., 1934.
