WHITE CHRYSANTHEMUMS. f send these flowers chaste and fair, Which tn our garden grew. As fresh, as pure, and beautiful — As innocent ns . . . you. Oft have I bent In tender care, Like parent o’er his child, To set aright some wayward limb, Which else had wandered wild. Thus take these blooms in white army, Which in our garden grow, From one who deems that only they Are beautiful as you. —Will Carter.
