WAR RELIEF ASSOCIATION — MONTHLY MEETING. From Our Own Correspondent. TAKAPAU, April 5. Tim monthly meeting of the Takapan branch of the Hawke’s Hay War Relief Association was held last evening. there being present. Messrs E. F. Stubbs (chairman), AV. Cuthbertson, \’ M Paulsen. G S. White and J. Caughley. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs A W Cook and J AV Cato Correspondence was received from Flock House National War Funds Council, and the Hawke's Bay liar Relief Association. I temporary assistance granted were confirmed. ■' PERSONAL. Mrs E. I l '. Stubbs, Burnside, Taka pau, is visiting her daughter, Mrs W. Bennett, ot Wellington. Mrs Craig and Miss Craig are spending a short holiday with Mr and Mrs G. Il Smith, of Wellington.
