RAILWAY EARNINGS UP
Back-to-the-Rail Tendency (By Telegraph Pre-? Al'Hocintlon.) DUNEDIN, April 5. According to *lr Mackley, General Manager of Railways, the nett revenue for the year just ended will be about £1,000,000, as against £850,544 last year. His impression after his tour is that there is a definite hack-to-the-rail tendency.
