HEATING IN SCHOOLS
Stoves Replacing Chimneys In connection with t a damage done by earthquake in the Dannevirke district, the Minister of Education has informed Mr. G. A. Maddison, chairman of the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, that he had agreed that all chunneyi shall be replaced by stoves in small schools and by hot water systems in the larger ones. In this matter the Minister has accepted in toto the recomnindatipns of the board and the work is now in hand.
