HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL
Grant for Shelter Mr. G. A. Maddison, chairman of the Hanke’s Bay Education Board, to-day informed the “Tribune” that as the result of his overtures to the Minister of Education the board had obtained ■ grant of £5O towards the erection of a shelter at the Hastings High School.
He had also approached the Minister for a grant for the renovating of the whole of the interior of the building. The Minister had requested that he be supplied with an estimate of the cost of the work which it is hoped to have undertaken shortly.
