The structural alterations to BL Peter’s Anglican Church, Waipawa, ere practically completed, and it is probable that the building will be reopened for worship early in May. The new pipe organ has arrived and is now being built into position, A mishap delayed the arrival of the lassie Rathbone memorial window, the first shipment crashing on being landed from the steamer and a replace order had to be cabled. Excellent progress is being made with the rehearsals for the production of the musical comedy *‘ln Sunny Spain,” to be staged at Waipawa early in May. Half the net proceeds of the performances are to be devoted to the Waipawa branch of St. John Ambulance Association, an object Which should elicit practical support, quite apart from the merits of the performance. The Waipawa rink which competed in the bowling tournament at Napier during Easter must be congratulated on its fine performance.
