REGISTRAR-GENERAL OF LAND
Mr. J. J. L. Burke Appointed By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 4. The appointment of Mr J. J. L. Burke as Registrar-General of Land was announced to-day. Mr Burke at present holds the office of deputy-Registrar-General of Land and District Land Registrar for Wellington. This latter position he will retain in conjunction with his new appointment.
