WEATHER CONDITIONS ALOFT
New Idea in Forecasting SYDNEY, April 3. The Weather Bureau at Sydney has arranged for a series of aeroplane flights on 30 consecutive days to obtain meteorological data which is expected to be helpful in forecasting the weather. A Moth aeroplane piloted by Mr Goya Henry, by arrangement with the Commonwealth Government, will climb 10,000 feet daily, recording the temperature, humidity and wind velocity by means of special instruments fitted to his machine.
