THREE-POWER CONFERENCE
Solving Danubian Problems ROME, March 14. The three-Power Danubian conference opened with an effort by experts to co-ordinate the proposals of the participants, Signor Mussolini, Dr. Dolfuss and M. Gombos, who meet tomorrow. It is understood that Dr Dollfuss is willing to exchange more Austrian machinery and industrial proluets for Italian wine and agricultural products except wheat, which they are raking from Hungary. The conversations include the question of the use of Trieste and Fiume It is proposed that Italy give Austria and Hungary preferential tariffs on all exports to Italy, also that it accord low railway rates to Hungary to enable her to send her goods to Trieste and Fiume through Austria. Exceptional facilities for the use of the ports are ’•wing considered.
