Advocates Not Disinterested (Received 16, 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, March 15The Treasury’s investigation of speculative silver holdings was said by the Secretary of the Treasury, Mr. Morgenthau, to have shown that some advocates of silver prices were not entirely disinterested, and he was opposed to a further change in the Government’s silver policy at this time.
