ATHLETICS IN HASTINGS
Season’s Final Meeting FIXTURE FOR MAYOR’S FUND A special athletic meeting, and the last to be held in Hastings this season, is to take place at Nelson Park on the evening of Tuesday, March 27, in aid of the Mayor’s Copper Trail Fund for tho relief of distress. The meeting is being organised on a large scale by the Hastings Cash Athletic Club, and there will be several interesting and novel features in addition to the actual athletic events. A special programme is now being arranged, and full details will be published in the “Tribune” within the next few days.
