BARKING POWER STATION
Largest in the World British Official Wireless Service RUGBY, Jan. 30. The first part of the new section of tho Barking power station, East London, has been opened, making this the largest station in Europe. The station supplies 3000 square miles of south-east England. It cost over £2,000,000. The new section has two of the largest turbo-alternators in Great Britain and two of the largest transformers in the world.
