OBITUARY
Mr. W. T. Irvine The death occurred at Waipukurau on Thursday, at the residence of his daughter, of Mr William Tarrenco Irvine, aged 80. Mr Irvine established at Napier the wholesale trading company of Davidson, Irvine and Co., Jater disposing ot the business to J. Vigor Brown and Co. Mr Irvine leaves two sons, Messrs W. T. Irvine, of Mr. «*erton, and Kussell Irvine, of Waipukurau, and six daughters, Mrs G. L. Harker, of Waipukurau, Mrs G. Wright, of Wellington, Mrs Beckett, of Wellington, Mrs Harold Douglas, of Napier, Mrs Ryan, of Taihape, and Mrs Guy Natusch, of Tasmania, while another daughter, Mrs 8. Tansley, died two years ago. Mrs Irvine also predeceased her husband a few years ago. Dr. Pierre Paul Roux (Received 4, 12.35 p.m.) PARIS, Nov. 3 The death has occurred of Dr. Pierre Paul Roux, bacteriologist, discoverer of diphtheria antitoxin.
