DERBY ACCEPTANCES. MELBOURNE, November 2. Tho Victoria Derby acceptances are as follow: — Trivento, Palphar, Hall Mark, Nellie’s Tip, Brutus, Break-Up, Yultewirra, Miramond, Blixten, Saurian. New Zealanders in other races are:— Maribyrnong Plate.-—The Weaner, Cavalcade, Queen Helen. Stakes.—Gaine Carrington. Hotharn Handicap.— Greenhorn, King Colossus. Burlesque has been sold to Messrs I l ’. F. and Norman Robinson, and will bo trained by J. Donohue. Panjandrum is suffering from tetanus and its condition is dangerous. Starting barrier positions for the Melbourne Cup are: Rails, Topical; 10, Gaine Carrington; 18, Peter Jackson. Roy Heed rides Movie Star in the Cantala Stakes and Regal Son in the Hotharn Handicap. TEA TRADER BEATEN. OUTRUN DOWN THE BACK NEW YORK, November 1. At Tanforan to-day tho Inaugural Handicap resulted: —Board Walker 1. Teralice 2, Hueu 3. Time, 69 3-5. Tea Trader also ran. Tea Trader was outrun down tho back stretch, slowing up badly near the wire and finishing sixth, trailing tho field. Irma Count, tho seventh starter, dropped out. The winner, Board Walker, was an outside favourite. Tho track was slow following rains.
